Crystals are beautiful tools. There is absolutely no doubt about that. They can support us, comfort us, ground us, amplify our intentions and help us to become more mindful of ourselves and our energy.
But the real transformation really kicks in when you add another secret ingredient. YOU!
The Crystal Kingdom is one of wonder and discovery, but no Crystal can do the inner work for you. A piece of Rose Quartz can sit on your bedside table for years, but if you don’t love it, cleanse it, activate it and put intention into it, get to know it and actually do the work then nothing will truly change. Full disclosure here. I was that person many years ago. I have since made this up to all of my Crystals from those days and they all sit happily and with lots of new friends too.
The Crystal is the companion. YOU are the catalyst.
This is a part people often miss in the Woo World. We can so easily fall into the trap of searching for the next Crystal, the next tool, the next course, the next thing that will finally fix everything. Sound familiar?
Healing rarely very often arrives like a massive bolt of lightning while there is a full moon and you are fully in meditation mode with all your latest Woo tools around you. More often, it will arrive quietly. Sometimes so quietly that you won’t actually notice until it has passed and you sense the beautiful shift of all the shite. You will notice that you choose you. Saying no to the things you usually say yes to and instantly regret. Taking a step back instead of reacting at full pelt. And the beauty of healing? It never ends. It is the gift that keeps on bloody well giving! WE are the ones to show up to this work and Crystals are our support. They can anchor, be iccle energetic companions and symbols of intention.
Clear Quartz won’t magically create beautiful clarity if you refuse to take a hard and honest look at your life as it is right now. Black Tourmaline can’t alone protect your peace if you keep saying yes when you really mean no.
The power and the answer were never trapped in the Crystal alone. The Crystal helps to give it a nudge. Brings up the questions that have needed addressing for eons. There is magic and power in you.
Crystals have changed my life since I started to take notice and not just expect them to do it all for me. Buying a pair of crazy priced running shoes alone will not help you run that marathon. You need to put in the effort and partner up with them.
It is the relationship between your intention, your awareness, your actions and the energy you choose to cultivate.
That is where the magic lives. How bloody empowering is that.
