This week has been a busy one. Don’t mind telling you I’m a bit drained. But in a good way. If that makes sense.
Both of our boys has big weeks with GCSE’S and SAT’S. There can be SO much pressure on our little people, and the things that truly matter about a person can’t be measured by exams or tests etc. Numbers and letters on a piece of paper don’t reflect the person and their true qualities. Do your best is always my advice. We are all capable of making a mark on the world by simply being us. We can all make a difference and be happy as that comes from within. Our eldest son stopped and checked on a crying and distressed lady last week and she thanked him and said tell your Mum to be proud. That meant everything that he chose to stop and check and spend time with her. To her and also to me. Really massively proud Mum moment there.
I have taken things up a level personally. I have started to up my social media game (getting there slowly) and also organised a Mediumship workshop at the amazing Chislehurst Caves with my friend Roy Roberts. The venue has booked us in and we are looking forward to meeting you all for a day of discovery and adventure. No expectations, just the intention to relax and have fun and see where it goes. I am also blogging and updating my website too and me and my hubby founded and registered “Woo Without The Waffle”. There will be more on this is the weeks to come.
On top of all of that I have started a new diploma. I always want to learn. I always want to grow and strengthen my knowledge. To pass knowledge to others and help others, it needs to be underpinned properly. That is a big ME thing. When I read for people, it is more than just that. It is clarification. It is guidance. I enjoy seeing people leave a session with a shift. Feeling lighter. Seeing a way forward. This diploma will allow me to offer even more from a place of knowledge as well as experience and offer those who come to me the security to know they are being guided from an educated and professional place as well we a spiritual and intuitive place. I am looking forward to working through this diploma and all it will offer so I am able to spread my wings that little bit more.
Yesterday was a home day and I sat with the box set of Medium. Fantastic series that I love to watch and now see through different eyes to those of 15+ years ago. It is a very good watch and I recommend buying it on Prime.
Yesterday I also had the strangest experience with a piece of Blue Calclite. I was dealing with something completely unrelated to Woo of any kind and I will be honest, it was REALLY getting on my you know what’s. I REALLY wanted to say something, but it wasn’t appropriate. I am all for unblocking the Throat Chakra and speaking my truth, but one thing that mindfulness teaches us is to think about the other person as well as yourself. What could be happening with this person etc. It is a wonderful way to be, but sometimes it is flipping hard and you just want to come out with what you really want to say.

Blue Calcite is a beautifully soft and is wonderful for clearing the mind of stress and enhancing clear communication. Ah, sounds perfect. BUT due to the dynamic of the scenario and the environment, I had to stay quiet and let the moment pass after I had quickly run it all by myself internally. I looked around the room and there was a beautiful piece of raw Blue Calcite. I reached out, picked it up and as I was holding it, a chunk broke off. It made me laugh. It was on the flat of my hand. No pressure or squeezing it like a stress ball, just there. I thought to myself ‘well this has taken my not so positive energy and thoughts and absorbed them and it broke to show me it has done its job’, or words to that effect! As you can probably imagine, I have a fair few crystals dotted around and I was drawn straight to this one. What was I saying before about Crystals choosing us………….? Once this happened, I felt lighter and the situation shifted. I have obviously kept the little bits that came off as a reminder to allow the cr*p to just flow by. We don’t necessarily always have to speak up and in this situation I am glad I didn’t as it would have caused upset to the other person. I know a lot of people would have said that they needed to hear xyz, but I read the situation and the person. Accepting and allowing are important, and looking back I feel that the other person simply wanted to be heard and chose me to be the one to listen.
So, next time you feel you may be walking into a situation that you know may be a bit spikey, take your trusted piece of Blue Calcite along for the ride too. This is an experience I will always remember and another daily reminder of the magic of Crystals and how happy I am life has taken me down this path.
Happy Sunday to you all.
