Growth. Well, it doesn’t have to arrive as fireworks. Sometimes it arrives as a quiet conversation that starts with the usual, how are you, what’s new etc. But a simple sentence in a seemingly ordinary conversation could change everything.
We have had a busy weekend with 2 markets and readings for me. I am also working on other projects and have thrown myself into starting a new Diploma. Watch this space…….
Anyway, the weekend and that conversation I just mentioned. I was chatting with my good friend and mentor, Roy. He has been a big influence and support on this path. He invited me to work with him and run workshops. With him. WOW!!! This landed and knocked me sideways and I am still letting it sink in. It landed deep and not because of ego, or titles or who it was who asked, but because sometimes we don’t realise just how far along our journey has bought us until someone reflects it back to us.
For a long time, many of us (very much including me!) in Spiritual work minimise what we do. We tell ourselves we are still practicing, still learning or not quite there yet. Meanwhile we are working with people and already making a difference. I believe that we are never ever fully qualified in this area and growth and reflection are ongoing. I continue to study, hold space, build and strengthen my practice and intuition and show up again and again even if there is a confidence wobble.
Growth often happens quietly. For me it comes from people who come back to me, recommend me and the best of all is when people tell me they feel lighter and happier. Each time I read, teach or heal I put my heart, soul and trust into the process. Each session is different. I have the courage to trust myself a little more each time. And it pays off.
I will always do this work, but I have always known that there is also something deeper: helping people to feel seen. Helping people understand. Helping people realise spirituality doesn’t have to be complicated or full of jargon to be meaningful and accessible. You do not have to become someone else. You don’t need to have your life perfectly together before you start to walk this path. I mean, who has!?!
Myself and Roy are putting out Mediumship Workshops and starting to lay the foundations. Things I have never dreamt of or even thought possible are now coming into my story.
Working with energy and spirit is an honour and we look forward to guiding others who feel drawn to do the same.
